ARN Restructures Agency Sales Team to Streamline Experience

By on August 1, 2022 0

ARN has announced a restructuring of its branch sales teams.

The broadcast and audio-on-demand company will combine its metro, regional and digital audio branches into one consolidated sales team to create a single point of contact for agencies and clients.

The new “All Audio” sales structure will provide business partners with access to a wide range of audio knowledge and a seamless customer experience.

The move follows ARN’s digital audio revenue growth associated with the recent acquisition of Grant Broadcasters and its representation arm, The Radio Sales Network.

The restructuring is intended to provide significant benefits to commercial customers, including ease of transaction and speed to market across ARN’s Audiosphere.

Angus Leech, ARN National Agency Sales Director, said: “To meet market demand as Australia’s audio leader, we have optimized our sales structure by introducing the new role of Group Business Director (GBD).

“These GBDs will provide our customers with a single point of contact across all of our audio touchpoints, whether it’s our #1 rated metro radio network, over 120 regional radio stations, the premier iHeartPodcast network from Australia or offers aimed at young people CADA and TikTok Tendance. GBDs will be supported by a team of experts specializing in metropolitan, regional and digital environments, ensuring that we provide the most effective audio solution for the brief.

Group sales managers will report to agency sales managers in each state. They are: Kate Blakeley In Sydney, Sam Harris in Melbourne, Emily Buckby in Brisbane, Sonia Russo in Adelaide and Aaron Bryant at Lost.

Jeremy Simpson will continue to be responsible for national regional revenue performance in his role as Country-Regional Commercial Director. Dennis Donati will oversee national digital audio performance as Director of Podcasts and Digital Audio Sales.
