American Football Previews 2010: Postage Charges
Details of changes to our postage charges for American Football previews
We're pleased to advise that we've received the first previews for the forthcoming season. Copies of Yahoo Sport and Pro Football Weekly, Athlon Pro and Athlon College are now in stock.
As outlined in a previous post we're expecting a batch of other titles. We don't yet have definite dates for the remainder of the previews (so treat the anticipated dates we've put on item pages with a degree of caution) but we expect that the next batch will start to arrive fairly soon. We will, of course, update further when other previews our available - by email as well as our newly established Facebook and Twitter pages.
We're also pleased to advise that we'll be adjusting our postage system for this item. Instead of first class postage in the UK costing £2.95 as per the automated order system, we'll be charging £2.00 instead.
So, if you were to purchase a single copy of Pro Football Weekly, the total order charge would be £5.50 rather than £6.45 - a saving of £0.95. Don't forget too, that if you're posting items to a UK address and purchase items over the value of £10.00 (reduced from the previous threshold of £20.00) your order qualifies for free shipping anyway.
Similarly, the cost for airmail delivery for a single item will be reduced to GBP4.00 (from GBP5.00) for Europe and GBP5.00 (from GBP7.50) for Rest of the World. Sorry to anyone based outside of the UK, the free postage offer doesn't apply.
Please remember that if you select the freepost shipping option your order may be batched together and sent when all items are in stock. If you are selecting items with different levels of availability and your order is time sensitive, you may prefer to select the first class rate.
One very important point to note is that the reduction on postage charges will be applied manually. Your order total as shown on your summary page will show the standard postage charge but, don't worry, we'll adjust all charges prior to charging.
We had hoped to have made the necessary technical adjustments to the site to enable automatic calculation of the rates prior to the arrival of the previews, but this has not been possible. We will do so in the future, but in the meantime, we'll make adjustments manually.
We'll confirm in our email dispatch confirmation notes exactly how much you have been charged. We know it's a little cumbersome, but you'll be getting reduced postage so it's worth bearing with us!
If you require clarification on the postage costs or if you have any questions relating to preview magazines, please feel free to contact us.
