Details of the six shortlisted titles
The 6 books shortlisted for this year's 2007 William Hill Sports Book of the Year Award has been announced. The books, alphabetical by author, are:
* Sir Bobby Charlton with James Lawton The Autobiography: My Manchester United Years
* Kevin Cook Tommy's Honour
* Chuck Culpepper Up Pompey
* Duncan Hamilton Provided You Don’t Kiss Me
* Nick Ward Left For Dead
* Simon Wilde Shane Warne: Portrait of a Flawed Genius
The shortlisted titles will go forward to an award ceremony on 26th November when the winner will be announced. It's an increasingly attractive prize as the winner receives £18,000 cash prize as well as a £2,000 free bet.
