Lewis Hamilton Autobiography
Details of Lewis Hamilton's recent book deal.
With the interest his debut season has generated, it was always unlikely that Lewis Hamilton would be able to resist the advances of the publishers.
Unsurprisingly therefore there's news of a book deal. He's agreed a deal with Harper Collins and the book, entitled Lewis Hamilton: My Official Story is scheduled for release on 5th November, safely after the last race in Brazil. The publisher will be hoping that they'll be able to insert the title winning chapter seamlessly into the book.
There were already a raft of unofficial books on Hamilton scheduled, but whether all of them will now be released is open to debate. If he manages to win the title I imagine that they'll go ahead and hope to catch a piece of the Hamilton euphoria. If he doesn't, I wouldn't be surprised to see one or two quietly cancelled. The one that's already appeared - Brian Belton's effort - has first mover advantage but will look seriously out of date if the title goes home with Hamilton.
