We hope that Members will enjoy using the site. To help facilitate understanding of what's expected of users, we've established some guidelines
Your Personal Details
Every member that has an account on WordofSport.com is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and accuracy of his or her account and password. You are able to update the personal information stored in your account by selecting the members area of the website.
Members agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under their account or password. You should take all necessary steps to ensure that your password is kept confidential and secure.
Members shall not choose a username that contains swear words or is otherwise objectionable or one that impersonates or appears to impersonate another member.
Members agree to accept responsibility for the accuracy of personal information provided. In particular, it is important to maintain an accurate and up-to-date email address as this is the primary means of communication Wordofsport.com uses. Without an accurate email address we make no guarantee that we will contact you about an order or any other matter. You are able to update the personal information stored in your account by selecting the members area of the website.
In addition to a basic username, members have the option to expand their profile to include more detailed personal information and an image or 'avatar' to represent them. The information you choose to reveal on your public profile is decided by you. Providing information such as your date of birth and address allows us to pre-fill forms and helps us personalise the service we can offer you. Date of birth and address information will always remain confidential and will not appear on your public profile.

Posting Reviews
We encourage all of our members to review items and share their knowledge for the benefit of other users. Please post reviews that will be informative and helpful to other members and users. We encourage the use of a relaxed, conversational style with proper grammar and punctuation. The primary language of the web site is UK English. These are the House Rules for posting reviews:
- Members may post reviews or other content provided that the material is not defamatory, obscene, abusive, objectionable, or otherwise injurious to third parties.
- Repeatedly posting the same or similar message (spam) including the posting of reviews containing excessive use of emoticons or only emoticons is not permitted.
- Advertising of products or services for profit is not permitted.
- Intentional annoyance, harassment or deliberate inconvenience to other members is not permitted.
- Misleading impersonation of individuals or entities, including but not limited to the use of false email addresses or false attribution of content is not permitted.
- WordOfSport.com is intended to be a safe, friendly and informative web site for the benefit of all our members and visitors. Any action that is deemed inconsistent with that intention or is otherwise harmful is not permitted.
Word of Sport reserves the right, but not the obligation, to edit or remove any content or prohibit or restrict conduct or communication that it deems in its sole discretion to be harmful.
In addition we reserve the right to refuse access to the site, terminate accounts, remove or edit content at our discretion.
If you submit material to us, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free worldwide licence to publish, reproduce, distribute, modify or otherwise use the material in any way and at any time we want, including without limitation print and electronic format.
Communications
You consent to receive communications from us electronically and you agree that all agreements, notices and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. Grievances - What Happens If You Break The Rules?
You will be sent an email explaining the nature of the offence and why it breaches the House Rules. Further posts from that member will be subject to increased scrutiny and if the offence is repeated or additional offences committed, then you may be banned from using the site.

Severability
If any part of these terms and conditions is found to be unenforceable as a matter of law, the enforceability of any other part of these terms and conditions will not be affected.
Modifications to Terms and Conditions
Word of Sport reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Any modification of these terms will be deemed to be effective from the date and time of posting on the site. You will be subject to the terms and conditions in force at the time that you use the site.
Governing Law
This agreement and any contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English Law and the English Courts shall have jurisdiction over any dispute between us.
