What information do we collect?
We collect information on our users in two ways: through cookies, and through registration.
The Word of Sport web site uses cookies to record information of a non-personal nature. The basic information we need to process an order is an email address, a password, a username, cardholder name, cardholder address, credit card number (including expiry date and Card verification number).
We process card transactions through Protx a Payment Service Provider. We use Protx rather than process your card ourselves because Protx are expert at making your buying experience safe and highly secure. We never personally see your card details and the information is not held or stored by us. All order information is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. If we process an order over the telephone or by letter, we will have access to your card information. We will ensure that access to your personal information is limited to approved personnel only and we will keep the information you have provided secure and will treat it with respect. Once the card number has been transmitted for processing, we will store it securely until such time as it has fulfilled all financial, auditory and legislative requirements. If we no longer need to retain the information, it will be destroyed in a secure, controlled and non identifable way.
What information can you access?
You can (and are encouraged to) keep your personal details up to date by logging in and visiting the members area of the site. You are able to amend personal details such as your registered address, your email address and contact phone numbers. You can also amend your personal profile details including favourite quotes and about me. In addition, you can delete your entire account. Please be advised that once an account is deleted it cannot be reactivated.

Word of Sport reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Any modification of these terms will be deemed to be effective from the date and time of posting on the site. You will be subject to the terms and conditions in force at the time that you use the site.
Governing Law
This agreement and any contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English Law and the English Courts shall have jurisdiction over any dispute between us.
