From the Publisher:
Duggie Greenall was one of the key players for St Helens from 1946 to 1959. He was also one of the greatest characters to play for the club since the war and one of the toughest players ever to play rugby league. This book covers his full rugby league career including:
* Winning the Challenge Cup with St Helens in 1956.
* Winning the Championship in 1953 and 1959.
* His Great Britain career, including his battles with the Australians.
* His partnerships with great wingers such as Steve Llewellyn and Tom van Vollenhoven.
Well illustrated and based on extensive interviews and research, the book covers many great times from Duggie's playing career and his life off the pitch.
The author, Denis Whittle, is a lifelong St Helens fan who covered the club for many years for the St Helens Reporter and then the St Helens Star. The foreword is by Ray French.
