From Word of Sport:
Autobiography of the New Zealand stand-off who captured the hearts of Wigan supporters in the immediate post-war era. The first overseas player to win the Lance Todd Trophy, he moved to Warrington, and managed the Wire to some of their greatest triumphs before returning to New Zealand and coaching the Kiwis.
From the Publisher:
Ces Mountford is recognised as one of the greatest Kiwi Rugby League players of all time. He joined Wigan in 1946, and was a key member of the great post-war Wigan team. In 1951, he was the first foreign player to win the Lance Todd Trophy. In 1951, he joined Warrington as manager and stayed with the club for 10 years, including some of their greatest triumphs, including the 1954 Cup and Championship Double. He then returned to New Zealand, and developed Rugby League coaching, including managing the national team. He was awarded the MBE for his services to Rugby League.
Now living in retirement in Australia, this book looks back on a fascinating life, including growing up on the West Coast of New Zealand and his experience in British Rugby League. The book also includes contributions from many past players and colleagues. It is well illustrated with photographs and cartoons from his full Rugby League career.

It's A Fact!
Barry White was the arranger of 'Harlem Shuffle' by Bob & Earl...not strictly a sporting fact, but an interesting one nonetheless!
