From the Publisher:

Janos Wimpffen is an internationally renowned expert in the history of sports-car racing. He is the author of Time and Two Seats, as well as Open Roads and Front Engines, Winged Sports Cars and Enduring Innovation, and Spyders and Silhouettes, the three predecessors to this book, which cover the periods from 1953-1981.

Janos has been a racing enthusiast for nearly forty years, and his passion for the sport was strongly influenced by his grandfather, who was an automotive pioneer in Austria-Hungary. In addition to his larger writing projects, Janos is also a contributor to several publications and Web sites, as well as a consultant on various historical research projects.
