From Word of Sport:
A line-up of eleven Sheffield Wednesday greats from the past twenty years recall their time at Hillsbrough and relive its most memorable moments. Including the likes of Waddle, Sterland and Hodge, the book is both an anthology of personal memories and a behind-the-scenes account of recent Wednesday history.
From the Publisher:
In the last 20 years, Sheffield Wednesday FC have undergone a remarkable transformation, taking them from the Third Division to the heights of the Premiership. In Blue-and-White Wizards, 11 players that helped make it happen take us on an exclusive trip through some of the extraordinary moments of the last two decades, from the Boxing Day Massacre of 1979 to the double cup final appearances of 1993.
The book also takes a look at two of the greatest names in management, Jack Charlton and Ron Atkinson, both of whom are intrinsically linked to the success of the club.
Daniel Gordon runs his own company, VeryMuchSo Productions, which specialises in documentaries on the North Korean football heroes of 1966. He has supported Sheffield Wednesday FC since the age of six.
