Despite the publisher blurb, presumably chasing a bit of post Ashes cash-in, this isn't really a cricket book. It actually encompasses Hughes' work as a sportswriter and whilst cricket, and the Channel 4 team, feature heavily there's plenty of space devoted to other sports.

Hughes comes across as wonderfully irreverant (if you haven't had one of your secrets betrayed by him as he chases a scoop) or an absolute arse (if you have). It's funny, very funny in parts, and contains a gem of an anecdote about Seb Coe. Heartily recommended.
